Core Club and Ryan McGinness's studio

Pablo De Ritis, the Cultural Curator and BizDev guy at Core, organized a fab outing to Ryan Mc Ginness's studio and boy did we, the group, eat it all up. Jeffrey Deitch added in his valuable two cents which I hadn't thought of before; of the relationship between Ryan's work with recent American art history like Pollock. The relationship to Warhol is obvious, but less obvious are the art historical references from Botticelli to Bosch to Michelangelo's Mona Lisa. Go figure! Sitting right next to, and comfortable with, that icon of the skater doing an ollie. Positively Brilliant!
