I met AJ in Trinidad during Carnival. It's so terrible, but I do it from time to time, i.e. make preliminary judgements about people which I have to revise once I get to know them. He's a cool cat. Every Friday for the summer he and some of his friends are throwing this party at Branch, in midtown, 54 Street. Last Friday I was there, and though I kept saying I was leaving, I didn't leave till the bitter end...
